Cinnamon CZ4 is sourced from Madagascar, a region celebrated for cultivating aromatic spices with a naturally high oil content and bold flavor. The island’s tropical climate and rich soil provide ideal growing conditions for cinnamon trees.
Cultivation and Harvesting:
Cinnamon in Madagascar is cultivated through traditional, sustainable farming practices. The bark is harvested from young shoots of the cinnamon tree, peeled carefully, and then dried under natural conditions. Once whole cinnamon sticks are sorted, the smaller pieces are separated to produce the CZ4 grade. These fragments are then cleaned by hand and undergo metal detection before packaging.
